I have followed the directions to change the listening
port for Remote Desktop and forwarded the ports on the
Router. The only computer that will allow a connection is
the default port of 3389. Adding :3390 to the address

WinXP Pro SP2 at home behind Buffalo WBR-54G, connecting to
Win2000/2003 Server RRAS VPNs at client offices.   I have 14 VPN
connections setup, but I can only connect to 12 of them reliably.  The

When I use Remote Desktop I can "see" what is going on at the other computer
using a Logitech QuickCam Orbit; but can not hear what is going on. Is it
possible to turn on the sound so I can hear at the other computer?

Here's a weird problem I'm having with my machine at the
moment. I've been trying to connect to my home PC using a
Remote Desktop Connection.

which i've applied, but am not successful.  is there a resource with
step-by-step instructions including necessary settings?  also, i seem to only
find info for the machine connecting to the office, but ...

is there a way to reboot a windows xp computer remotely
that i normally have the ability to make a remote desktop
connection to.  the connection does establish but there is
a hung program that is causing the desktop to not respond.
