I'd like to know how secure Windows Remote Desktop Connection is. Here is my scenario. There are two compunters behind a standard net gear router. One computer has Windows XP Pro and another has Windows XP Home.

Does anyone have an idea why the check box for enabling Remote Desktop connection under the remote tabe would be grayed out? The Remote Assistance check box can be turned on/off, but the Remote Desktop check box is grayed out.

We have a remote network connected via hardware VPN. The users at the remote site have all XP Pro SP1 boxes and can logon, access all mapped drives, connect Outlook to the Exchange server, print to printers at HQ and anything else they need to do.
