Can someone give me a step by step process of how to setup remote computering. I have a laptop I would like to use as a client and a desktop I would like to use as a host. I am using the Remote Desktop Connection software that came with my computer.

I have XP Pro on my laptop that I use most of time. I have Windows 2000 on my CPU and its where I keep all of my files (120 GB & 40 GB hard drives). I already have all the drives mapped but I want to eliminate the CPU's monitor for conserve space in my small office.

My host computer which is my work computer runs on xp Professional. I have gone in and enabled it for remote work. Dell support tells me that the host computer needs to have a wireless card installed. This doesn't seem right. Is this true or false?
