Hi - I am trying to set up remote and I have a netgear router. I have set up VPN in the router - however - I am still having problems and not getting much further than this. Can anyone help me (a computer novice) set this up. Thanks

It appears that I am unable to connect to my Desktop If im not logged(physically logged into Windows not just computer running) into it. Anyone happen to know why and if its normal?

I've setup a VPN connection to a remote server and can connect fine. But here's the stupid question, now what do I do? How do I view the remote computer and browse that network? Thanks for help.

does anyone know if XP SP1 natively supports NAT-T over L2TP/IPSec VPN connections? There in an NAT-T update (818043) that is now rolled into SP2, however this appears to be an update only. Does anyone know if SP1 can support NAT-T without this update?

I'm setting up a laptop for my son's use. He lives with his mom in Florida and I live in California. What would be the best way to remotely access/administer his PC in order to fix problems and so on. Last I used (years ago) was PCAnywhere on a dial-up.
