I connect to XP SP2 PRO machine from XP SP2 PRO machine with "Disk drives" option checked on "Local resources" tab. Remote desktop is working OK, but when I open "My Computer" there are no local disks.

I use a web connection via a firwall and am having trouble accessing the remote desktop outside the routers firewall. I have forwarded the 3389 port to the local machine but i am not sure as to the address to post to access the machine or wether there are any other ports

Using Windows XP sp2, whenever I check the "use default gateway on remote network" box, I'm able to connect to the VPN and access the internal LAN at work, but I cannot browse web sites. The DNS appears to resolve, but not even pings are answered.

I have setup a VPN and I can only login to the VPN with adminstrator accounts. I want other people to connect to my VPN but I do not want them to have adminstrator rights to prevent trouble etc.

Since I only have two computers I tried to test it by having the other computer login and then trying the same thing from the host computer like a loopback but then one of the two cant login ? Does this mean only 1 user is allowed to connect at the same time to a VPN

I'm trying to allow multiple XP Pro users concurrent use of my XP Pro remote desktop. Whenever someone tries to logon, it logs out the other. This works with Terminal Services and Win2000. Shouldn't it work with Remote Desktop too? What am I missing? Thanks, Doug

I have a three pc's at home behind a dlink router. I have setup remote desktop fine for one for them but can't seem to access my other pc? How does remote desktop know which pc I want to remotely access when I connect through a router? How can I access my other pc?
