Via Remote Desktop I want to run a media playback app on the remote machine and utilise its local sound card. However, Remote Desktop replaces any sound card drivers with its own RDP Audio Driver.

I have a VPN connection which is used to log onto a remote server to pickup emails. It works fine without a problem. The problem is that you cannot surf the internet while the VPN connection is connected. And if you are using the Internet you cannot make the VPN

I've been using Remote Desktop for a couple months, and it works great. Just yesterday, though, I noticed that when I press Alt+Tab, it is no longer sent to the remote computer but is instead handled by the local computer.

How do I remove and reinstall Remote Desktop Protocol on a Windows XP Pro SP2 computer? The OS crashed, "Use Last Know Good Config" was chosen, and now RDP will not work any more (it used to). I tried reinstalling SP2, still no joy.
