i want to delete the history of the remote desktop connection in
START/PRGS/ACCESSORIES/COMMUNICATIONS
also i dont want any history to appear on the scroll screen of the remote

I'm looking for some help with this:
How can i see from which workstation name (and IP) someone is making a
connection to my server (win2000) or a WindowsXP workstation.
I alreay took a look at the eventviewer but couldn't find there any

I am new to the concept of remote access and wondered if someone out there

recently reported that they can no longer use "Offer Remote Assistance"
while interactively working with the user who needs help.
Basically they go into Help and Support, select "Offer Remote

On the System dialog, the remote tab, which had been visible, is now
missing.  Some drivers were installed that made Fast User Switching
and the Welcom dialog for logon go away.
Removed the drivers that caused the issue with welcom screen and fast

how can i allow someone to operate my computer remotely

I am using an external VPN device, have no problems with other machines on
the remote site mapping to the server for info. but this one will not
reconnect to the drive map. have rebuilt machine problem persists. using
DHCP from Firewall. have XPsp2 loaded no firewall on the problem ...

I have Windows XP Professional with SP2.  I got the firewall turned off, and
set the group policy to enable RA.  However, the only way for me to get it to
work in my environment is to boot into Safe Mode and type in the command
prompt, "sessmgr.exe -service".

I've looked through previous posts to find out how I can access a Windows
2000 machine remotely from an XP Professional machine, and came up with a
reference to the following document but I wondered if there is a way to do
this without using NetMeeting?

I seem to be having a problem creating a VPN connection from my laptop.
I suspect there is some sort of registry setting that isnt allowing me
to do this but I cant seem to find it. The laptop goes through the "New
