remote desktop immediately disconnects me10 May 2005 13:55 GMT1
Hi, I connect to my home machine from work via RDP.  It's worked fine
for months.  When I came into work today and attempted to connect, it
appeared to work at first and I was presented with the login screen.  I
enter my password and am immediately disconnected and thrown back to
RDPDD.dll failed to load10 May 2005 07:28 GMT1
When I try to connect to my office XP computer from home through a VPN using
Remote Desktop Connection nothing happens after I click connect.
The office computer log shows the following error:
\SystemRoot\System32\RDPDD.dll failed to load

I have a WinXP Pro at home and enabled for RD Web Connection (I have a

I have set my latop up to synchronise files from a network.
I can use these synchronised files while online.
However when the network connection is remove the programs are unable to
recognise the file types or names.

My computer is logged on to the university network. We have static IP and I
found my 'real' IP, so not the 10.95. ... stuff. When I try to connect with
