I have problems setting up RD on a computer running Windows XP professional over the internet while everything works fine over lan. This is the same for VNC. On Windows 2000 computers vnc works fine. I have gone through the page

The set up: A windows xp machine running VPN incoming connections behind an ADSL router (that has been configured). All the settings are default (connect using username and password, etc). The pc is using a dynamic dns to update the dns records of the current ip.

If I fire up the RDC I get the "Computer" dropdown with a list of hosts which I have connected to recently. How do I clear this list - it's full of machines which no longer exist and which get in the way. Also, is there a way of sorting it?
