My laptop XP Pro can RDP all my servers (PDC, Exchange, etc) when I am inside
my LAN. At home I use VPN to establish connection to my LAN but can not RDP
my server. I can ping the servers by IP but not by name. I can use VNC to

when i have the pc on, it will shut down completely. sometimes right away and
sometimes it will run for a while then shut down. i've checked with the virus
scan and it appears to be clean.  im starting to pull my hair out can't

RDC works all fine, except I haven't been able to print locally.
I installed the printer in the "server" machine and the Local
Resources/Printers is checked.  After doing that it appears as if the printer
is being re-directed fine.   The local printer is a Dell 922 (All-In-One)
