My laptop XP Pro can RDP all my servers (PDC, Exchange, etc) when I am inside my LAN. At home I use VPN to establish connection to my LAN but can not RDP my server. I can ping the servers by IP but not by name. I can use VNC to establish a session to servers or desktops.

when i have the pc on, it will shut down completely. sometimes right away and sometimes it will run for a while then shut down. i've checked with the virus scan and it appears to be clean. im starting to pull my hair out can't figure it out is there anyone that can help?

RDC works all fine, except I haven't been able to print locally. I installed the printer in the "server" machine and the Local Resources/Printers is checked. After doing that it appears as if the printer is being re-directed fine. The local printer is a Dell 922 (All-In-One)
