Yesterday was the day Microsoft released security patches for August.
Among them was this patch which involves a Denial of Service (DOS) exploit
against Remote Desktop.

Whatever I do, I am unable to setup a remote desktop connection over the
internet between two winXP computers. One is connected through ADSL of
hccnet.nl the other through wanadoo.nl. I begin to suspect that wanadoo is

Hello, ill try to keep these questions as simple as possible.
I wish to use a XPP computer as a server for various simple applications,
but I will need to access this computer from remote, since the physical
location where the computer is located is very far from my home.

Is there a way to remoce the "X" from the RDC client windows and to force the
