I can use my remote desktop web connection fine using my dsl service but when I try to connect using my dialup service I get the error 404. I am using linksys router wrt54g ver 2 with the ports forwarded. Must be set right because I can connect using my dsl.

We currently use PC Anywhere where we as helpdesk operators are able to take control of an existing session on a remote PC without user interaction. This is protected by way of authentication in the PC Anywhere client using Windows Authentication and so is secure.

I'm running a VNC server (in service mode) on a Windows XP Home pc. Every time I connect to the server, it kicks whoever's using the machine out of their desktop and back to the login screen if they are using a restricted account. When they log back in, the VNC connection closes.

I can't remote from my XP Pro machine to my XP Home machine. However, I CAN remote the other way, XP Home to XP Pro. Any suggestions??? And yes, I've enable remote assitance on the XP Home machine. Thanks in advance!!
