Is using remote destop connection pretty secure? I mean in the sense if I use it from work to access other computers such as at home, other than the IP address - can any of the session be captured?

Should I make my home PC with XP Pro installed part of a domain to be-able to connect to my work network (Server 2003). Should I lock-on "To This Computer" or lock on to the Domain on home PC when I whant to connect to the work network with (RDC).

i use remotedesktop to connect to a windows xp prof. german incl. SP2. After a while, the winlogon crashes with the window 'winlogon.exe - Fehler in Anwendung'. I tried uninstall/repair and re-install SP2 but nothing helped.
