Remote assistance -'Program could not start'?31 Jan 2006 18:58 GMT1
When trying to sent an invitation for remote assitance I get a message
telling me that "Aprogram could not start, please try again". Trying again
and again doesn't change the outcome.
What program is not starting? And what do I have to do to overcome that?

I have setup both machines to accept Remote Assistance.  X machine is in the
states and Y machine is in the UK.  Both running XP Pro.  When either machine
sends the request via messenger, the other party accepts the invitation and

I am able to connect sucessfully to WIN XP Pro computer usine RDC.  However
I am unable to connect from outside the LAN.
The firewall (LinkSYS Router has nothing turned on and the Windows Firewall
is set to work with RDC based on instructions from Microsoft.
