I can no longer modify my sisters computer. We are able to connect, but after 4-5 minutes, the connection is dropped. Never had this problem before. Can someone provide guidance on troubleshooting and possibly how to fix this? Thanks

I have been using RDP to connect to a client machine for a long time. The remote machine now reuses to accept the password. I know for a fact that both the logon and password are correct. Any thoughts on this? I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance.

When I want to connect my remote computer to the host computer, I must type in the computer name. In my case it is "winxp". These are not unique names on the Internet. So how does Remote Desktop find the correct computer name?
