Okay I have wasted about 30 hours on this now.
I have a windows 2003 server in my office which is running a Remote
Access Service.
I can connect to it with one PC but not the other. Buth PCs are XPPro

Hi Which XPs can you remote assistance to and from. Does everything have to
be XP Pro? Does the host have to be pro. What about remoting to an XP home

I've got a bit of a puzzle here ! We have 3 PC's in our remote office
that can VPN into our Main Office (SBS 2003 Server)
Two of the PC's work fine, you can connect by \\Servername\ etc so no
problems there....

When I start the Offer Remote Assistance I can enter the other computer name
and it displays the user that is logged on.  Then when I start the Remote
Assistance the starting remote assistanc box starts, but right after that I

Am I the only one that thinks it is nuts that you can't (or I don't know how)
turn on remote desktop via a domain GPO??
My solution right now is fine, but it is just annoying that I can't use GP.

I use RD quite a bit in the office to work on lab machines.  If the
session is left idle for some period of time, the connection goes away.
I can reconnect and see that the remote system never rebooted or
appeared to have a problem.  Is there a timeout for this?  I have
