Im trying to setup Remote Desktop Connection over Web on my home computer so
i can access it from Work, University etc. so both computers are XP Pro.  I
am running a router/ADSL modem and port forwarding has been set correctly.

Can you run remote assistance in ones home thought the same router?  Connect
with remote assistance from the family room to a computer in another room?

I have two XP Pro machines with RDP enabled. They are behind a router.
Machine1 is using Port 3389, and Machine2 is on Port 3390. Both machines
have accepted incoming connections with no problem for months. Machine2
is working well, but Machine1 has now stopped accepted incoming

I had to open port 3389 for all programs, as I could not find anything
on how to name the Remote Desktop program in my PCcillin 24. However, I
do not know if this gives an increased security risk, and would have
preferred to only allow incoming traffic for Remote Desktop. So how ...

over their comp, I get this message :
