I have a laptop running Win 98SE connected  to the internet thru a
router on my desktop running XP Pro. I would like to access files on
one using the other, and I' ve configured the remote access features
of both as instructed, including naming the desktop, and allowing

Okay, I connected to my desktop computer from my laptop computer at home.  
Now, since I did set it up through my netowork, when I am at work or away and
