Is it possible to remotey connect to a computer and spy on what the user is doing on that computer? At work, I find that at times my computer freezes for a split second and my desktop backgrouind changes. I do not have VNC running. Could the administrator be spying on me?

I found the following post from 2002. We are experiencing the same issue and wonder if anyone has seen this or has any ideas on how to solve it. Our only workaround is a periodic reboot of the machine. Thanks

I have two users defined in Windows XP e.g. UserA and UserB. I connect from another machine to my computer using UserA login. But when any of my family members logs into the computer directly with UserB login, my UserA connection is dropped off.

I know remote desktop can be used however it does not allow me into user's logged on session. Say I want to remote control user's session without prompting the user and having him/her clicking on "Yes", is there a way? (e.g. registry hack?)

I run XP Prof, SP2 on my PC and on my Laptop. When I try to establish RDC from my PC to the Laptop, the connection crashes just in this moment when the login screen should appear. The connection exists for a short time only! RDC from the PC to other XP Systems work fine!

On my Linksys router, BEFSR41, I forward port 3389 to my destop. But I could not find anywherer in Linksys router to prevent all public external IP to remote desktop connection to my home desktop except one public IP from office. Otherwise, anyone just lookup to my public IP
