Can I access to my home computer file on internet browser anywhere I want? i am using xp pro with remote desktop now, but had tried something like enter \\ip_address\ to access my shared folder at home using my work computer, but forgot how to do that, please advice....

I am moving and have a home based business in Atlanta. I will need to access files on the computers that will remain in Atlanta, while I'm living in Key West. I have no idea where to begin. Is remote Desktop the way to go? Should I try to set something else up?

There are some MS instructions regarding firewall configuration for the purpose of running win xp remote assistance. MS states only the port 3389 shall be opened. But more details on that filter rule are missing.

How do I allow users to connect to a server (a backup DC) via remote desktop without using terminal services? I have added the user group to the remote users group and it would not work. I also add specific users to the same remote group with any success.
