I know this is a common issue and there are a ton of ways to fix it. But, alas, I've not run across anything that has helped me. When I attempt to create a VPN connection with Microsoft's standard PPTP VPN, the dialogue hangs and eventually times out on Verifying

In Windows XP, by default the maximum time you can set a Remote Assistance request to remain open is 30 days. Is there any way to extend this, or even make it unlimited? Thanks,

I have two home computers and I am trying to connect to one of them from the Internet. The ip address in the lan is 192.168.1.21. I can vnc to it from the other home computer. The two computers are behind a WRT54G router. I have disabled the firewall

suppose I have a Master and a Slave PC, both with XP prof. - I'm accessing the Slave via Remote Dektop from the Master. Now I want to copy files from the Master to the Slave, controlled from the Slave via the mentioned Remote Desktop.

I am using Remote Desktop over SSH. I got my SSH client from www.ssh.com. I have successfully opened up an SSH connection to my Linux box, then created a tunnel with the proper listen and destination ports, and successfully connected to my Windows XP box.

Is there any way to have more than one user connect to a workstation at the same time? I have setup a PC that doctors will need to access from home. I've setup Remote Desktop but they may need to access this PC at the same time to view the databases. Is this possible?
