I know this is a common issue and there are a ton of ways to fix it.
But, alas, I've not run across anything that has helped me.
When I attempt to create a VPN connection with Microsoft's standard
PPTP VPN, the dialogue hangs and eventually times out on Verifying

In Windows XP, by default the maximum time you can set a Remote Assistance
request to remain open is 30 days.  Is there any way to extend this, or even
make it unlimited?

I have two home computers and I am trying to connect to one of them from
the Internet. The ip address in the lan is 192.168.1.21. I can vnc to it
from the other home computer.
The two computers are behind a WRT54G router. I have disabled the firewall

Is there a way to exclude users in the administrators group from being
able to login to a Windows XP Pro machine using Remote Desktop?

Tried to work this one out but it beats me. Nothing on microsoft kb that i
can find nor in the posts here back to June. One guy on google has
experienced same problem but with different set up...

suppose I have a Master and a Slave PC, both with XP prof. -
I'm accessing the Slave via Remote Dektop from the Master.
Now I want to copy files from the Master to the Slave, controlled
from the Slave via the mentioned Remote Desktop.

When I remote in to my normal office machine I can print screen, but when I
remote to another machine or a virtual PC the Print Screen does not work.  
Why?

www.ssh.com.  I have successfully opened up an SSH connection to my
Linux box, then created a tunnel with the proper listen and destination

Is there any way to have more than one user connect to a workstation at the
same time? I have setup a PC that doctors will need to access from home. I've

I need some assistance.  I have a computer running Win XP Pro SP 2 at my
office.  I am using Win XP Media Center SP2 with a Lexmark E238 attached via
LPT port 1.  I just recently purchased the Lexmark because my old Konica
