With XP Home on my computer at work, how difficult is it to log into it from home, it is behind a WRT54G and runs Zone Alarm Suite? How do I even "find" my computer from home?

I can only connect to a computer using Remote Desktop if the Windows Firewall is turned off. If I leave it on and have Remote Dekstop checked under the Exceptions tab, it will not work. But it should work, correct? Why does it not?
