I have a VPN set up on my laptop to conect to my server at home. When i
conect to the  VPN when i am away from home i can conect to the VPN
with oout any problem but i the i amunable to surf the interent as well
as conected to the VPN

Trying to use the wizard screens to establish a VPN connection to work. I
select the box for setting up a VPN.  Screen then comes up asking my how I
want to connect, Dial Up or Virtual Private Network. Both choices are greyed
out and can't be selected.  How do fix this?  Any help ...

   I have two PCs running XP Pro and I have setup RDP between them (its
easier than running up and down stairs).
Whenever I launch a remote session I get told that there is a local session
that needs to be disconnected first.

I am trying to get VNC to display a remote desktop on my laptop.  I get
connected, but the display is just a jumble of multiple images:

Dear all: I am trying to connect to windows xp pro -- using a remote
desktop client -- I was wondering if there is a way to connect to with
more color options -- currently my only options are 8-bit (256 color),

Is there a way to clear mapped drives from the mapped drives pull-down list?  
We have some mapped drives to servers that are no longer used that keeps
showing up when I go to map a drive.  I want to delete them but I don't know
how.  Please advise.

I have Hamachi installed on computer1 on LANa. I also installed it on
computer2 on LANB, located elsewhere on the Internet. I can connect
both to my network. I can see folders that are shared on both computer1
and computer2. However, I cannot see any other computers or shares on

OK, the VPN works, because most machines have no problem connecting.
With this particular laptop, on a Cable connection, we get this error.
tried:
deleting the VPN connection, and all modem and networking hardware.
