I must achieve remote desktop connection between Win 2k Server and Win XP through VPN (TCP/IP connection). Which software is the best for me to use (and easiest to configure)? PcAnywhere, UltraVNC... ?

The only way to access my desktop away from home with my laptop is to remove the router and just use the modem. I have already opened port 8080 on router but sill had no success. Can someone give me any suggestions?

At a hotel(see post earlier this week), we were able to VPN to our main office, but not establish the RDC. We had never had a problem before and had changed no settings on our laptop. We went to another location, and everything worked fine.
