We are currently rolling out desktops to a remote site which connects to head office on a leased 2mb line. 10 vip users are to have laptops and our main concern is syncing back the data when they return to site and begin to upload.

I am trying to use the remote desktop fuction, I tried to add all of the windows componets "add/remove windows Componets" but when I insert my Windows XP Pro disk it says " insert Windows XP Pro Service pack 2" I have Windows XP Pro service pack 1, How do I solve this problem?

I've seen several people posting this question, but no answer: when I connect to my office VPN, everything works fine *except* DNS lookups. I can access shares on the office server by IP address, but not by name. I can access external websites by IP address, but not by name.

Hi, I am trying to use RDT via a web connection. I have installed "tsweb" on the computer I want to connect to and enabled RDT. I'm connected to the internet via a router but I'm I right in thinking this will not affect a web RDT session.

Is there a way that one can make Remote Desktop receive incoming connections in Windows XP Home SP2? All of the instruction in Help & Support seem to reference options found in XP Pro only. I want to use Remote Desktop to remotely control another computer on my home network.
