I have been looking at a number of responses to this problem and quite
honestly I am abit ignorant. I have gone into my linksys router in the
forwarding page and entered what I think is correct..entered 3389 "to" 3389,
selected TCP,   and entered IP address 192.168.1.1.and ...

Is there any way to customize the information displayed on the conenction bar?
I would like to subsitute/alias a friendly name in place of the IP address.  
I often have multiple remote sessions open and this would help manage them.

When I get inadvertently disconnected, often my sessions will be unavailable
to reconnect when I get back later that day or even a day or so after.  But
they will then become available to reconnect a day or few later (so they

Remote desk top wont let me in if I am not already logged into the pc I am
