A friend needs to connect with me using Remote Desktop. She sent an e-mail
invite yesterday and that worked fine for a while. I was able to Take
Control of her computer for 15 minutes or so before I got a Disconnected

Using microsoft's built in vpn server and vpn client
set up:
  comp 1 win xp professional service pack 2 : server
             comp 1 has access to home network .

I was trying to enable the remote desktop using the following setting.
Control Panel => Network connections => Local Area Connection => Properties
=> Advanced Tab => Settings Button(below)
Enable the remote desktop server.

Does anyone know if it's possible to create some sort of shortcut (maybe on
the desktop) to create a Remote Invitation? I need any easy way for our users
to be able to send me an invitation because many of them are new to computers
and walking them through the Remote Asstance ...

How do I respond to someone who answers my postings?   When they ask me a
question, how do I respond???
