A user came to me today and asked my why when he logs in with his remote
desktop, he's being asked for username and password.  When I go into his
options on his RED, under the general tab, I see:
User name: (none)

I can start a remote assistance connection OK, but when the Remote
Assistance window opens I can only view the other person's desktop.  The Take
Control button and all the others are missing.
Anyone ever seen this and resolved it?  If so, how?

Out laptop users need to be able to connect at home and other places.
We are on a domain so the users are pretty restricted with what they can do.
I need them to be able to make wireless connections, do they need any
addtional rights?

remove user names from the first logon prompt?  I have multiple logon names
and need all but Administrator removed.  I have tried looking thorugh the

I have 2 boxes both running Windows XP and the same service pack (I think Sp4)
I can initiatie a RDP connection from box-A to box-B and work perfectly.
However I cannot initiate a RDP connection from box-B to box-A.

set up. And I wanted to see how another box was set up, so I went to log in
