On two machines, running two different (legal!) versions of Windows XP I've now had the exact same problem with remote desktop. When trying to Remote Desktop to any server, the connection just blocks and I can't connect to anything.

I have 2 computers in a home network, both running Windows XP Pro. Using Windows Remote Desktop I can control one PC from the other, but not the other way round. I tried using both names and IP addresses, but same result. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks.

I have an XP pro computer at my office that I connect to via RDP. I can connect fine using RDP but when I go back in the office and log in locally after an RDP session, the screen goes black and I have to reset or force a shutdown and reboot to get back into windows. Any ideas?
