I have 2 computers in a home network, both running Windows XP Pro.  Using
Windows Remote Desktop I can control one PC from the other, but not the other
way round. I tried using both names and IP addresses, but same result. Any

I started to read a little about remote desktop and nowhere did I find my
answer to the following questions.
I would like to use remote desktop within a company LAN and from my company
LAN to my XP Pro system at home. I have been successful using a work DC to my

I can ping an IP address on the company intranet, but when I try to Telnet
into it at a command prompt, it doesn't work.  I know the IP address and port

I have an XP pro computer at my office that I connect to via RDP.  I can
connect fine using RDP but when I go back in the office and log in locally
after an RDP session, the screen goes black and I have to reset or force a
