We are trying to set up a Remote Desktop Connection using the office computer
(small office) as the host (Windows XP Media Edition) and my home computer
(Windows XP Home Edition)  We keep getting the error "This Computer Can't
Connect to the Remote Computer. Try connecting again ...

Can establish a remote desktop connection from windows XP to windows 2000  
professional? I need remote from win XP to win 2000 pro, but i can't find
allow menu in windows 2000 pro. where? help me pls.

I have checked the drives box in options/local resources and i cannot see my
drive on the remote machine.
I do get the dialog warning me of the potential risk of doing this before I
connect to the remote.

I used to have the recipe for being able to log on to any particular computer
on a (peer-to-peer/router) network. I've lost it and don't remember how.
In the Remote Desktop window, I would enter the IP address, followed a colon
and some sort of 4-digit identifier which was unique ...
