I want to connect to my friend's computer using Windows remote desktop connection. If my friend's computer is using one of those wireless routers, which assigns the private IP address (192.168..), can I connect to that IP or is that private IP cannot be connected?

Logging on to a Vista 32 bit system with Win XP SP2 I cannot share clipboard contents in either 'direction'. Local Resources tab does have "clipboard" checked. Thank you for any help.
