Can anyone tell me why when using the web connection of remote desktop, that the connect button doesn't let you click on it? I tried it from 2 computers and it seems to be dimmed out or just doesn't allow me to click on it after i put in the server name.

when i logon to remote desktop, the client displays a 16-bit video driver. there is no 32-bit available. both computers support 32-bit, however. is there a way to display 32 bits or is 16 bits the limit?

I tried setting up my remote desktip to connect to my office pc. When I key in the computer name, the Domain automatically reflects the computer name. Please tell me how to change the domain name when it is greyed (cannot change)?

I need to find out if the RDC connection I am testing is actually working. I'm using telnet to connect to port 3389. It's fine that it does not return an error, but I'm interested in sending a string of text and getting a response.

Hello, at an old job where there were win 2K servers and NT workstations, we used the remote control add-in to AD that allowed us to join a desktop session in shadow mode. That is, we shared the same session with the user and could control the keyboard and the mouse.
