I have a small network with a couple users connecting to a win xp box that
acts as a server to store documents and run an application.  I have a firebox
vpn router currently installed and map drives to the XP box for the files and
app.

Does anyone know how much data is exchanged between the RDP client and the
RDP host when the connection is not in use (idle)? The company I work for
report a list of top-internet users and I don't want to occur on that list

I have a remote user connecting to an MS PPTP VPN. The user can connect to
VPN and ping by IP but it fails to properly resolve host names. It appears to
be using the LAN DNS server instead of the ones specifid in the TCP/IP
