When I try to remote into a XP SP3 machine over internal company network it
does not work. When I hit "Connect" the machine name grays-out for a second
or so and then goes back to white (like it's ready for me to click "Connect"

I am running 32 bit XP SP2 on a Dell Optiplex 745.  I just updated the
BIOS today but am still having a vexing problem trying to connect to
it via RDP when it is in standby.  I am able to get the Dell to wake
up enough to give me a login screen via RDP but as soon as I enter

I use RDP to log into my XP SP2 machine at home.  The screen at home is
16:9 while the screen I sometimes remote into is 4:3.
The problem I have is my desktop icons keep getting moved all over the
place.Is there a way to remote in via RDP, and keep the desktop icons

I have this My Briefcase that points to a location on a shared drive.
Shortly after it was created, the network drive location was changed.
It used to point to \\drive\share and now it points to \\drive

I am trying to access my home (Dell XPS 420 w/ Vista Ultimate)computer from
work (HP wx4600 Workstation w/ XP Professional).  I went to the Windows Help
Center where it had instructions on how to set-up Remote Desktop.  I
followed all of the instructions from this website
