From what I have been reading, is it correct that XP Home can not connect to
another computer through Remote Desktop? (XP Home SP3 to XP Pro SP3).

I'd been using RDC for ages, inputting the target PC's IP address, rather
than using a VPN. Now, all of a sudden, whenever I click "Connect", the
standard Windows XP error reporting box (Remote Desktop Connection has
encountered a problem and needs to close) appears. WHY!?

In Start=>Control Panel=>Network Connections=>Network Setup Wizard=>New
Connection Wizard=>Next=>Connect to the network at my workplace/Next, both
options are greyed out.  I would like to setup a PPTP VPN but get stuck here.
Any ideas?
