I have used the 'nodrives' reg entry on NT very successfully, however, the knowledge base says that it only works on NT and Win 2k. Anyone used it in XP or come across an equivalent?

the task manager just flashes and dissappears right away when i hit ctrl alt del, and same thing happens when i try to run regedit program! i don't have a virus either i've checked that one out!
