Is there a way to configure XP that wont allow programs
to be installed.  Like with a boot that requires
password?  Can an install be set up the same way?  I
would like to ensure that AIM/AOL does not get installed

When I use Active Directory & Computers on my XP machine

Something happened over night and now I can't access the

Suddenly,  when signing in to a subscribedwebsite
requiring a user ID and password, When I enter the user
id and password, the user ID changes to a HTTP://etc link
and the password is trashed as well.  This used to work

i'm wondering if there is any way to restrict who uses the internet on a
particular machine.  my neighbor wants to be able to restrict how much his
daughter uses the internet by password protecting it.  is win xp able to do
this natively?  is there a better solution to the problem?
