I have set up a network thru my hub however, even though I have password

I just upgraded a Windows 2000 Professional machine to
Windows XP Professional.  Now whenever I attempt to
remotely administer the upgraded machine, I get "Access is
denied" errors.  For example, using event viewer, I am

whenever I search using Yahoo or Google I get an Error
404 - in fact, I can't even get to Google.com / Norton
can't find a virus, and Yahoo's no help.
