We have to change the Domain name of our network.
There is no problem with the W2K or W98 clients, but with
XP Pro we lose the user profile.

Task Manager disappears before I can use it.....
After holding down CTRL and Shift Keys and hitting ESC

On windows Xp with several users using the same machine is

This is a fresh install of XP and even with admin rights
the administrative tools is empty.  Any thoughts would be

Anti-virus software showed that 5 files were infected by a
Trojan Horse virus.  I deleted 4 but the
C:Windows\System32\svcinit.exe file could not be deleted.
What do I do?

I have  been unable to remove this parasite from my pc.
The file exists in the windows system 32 directory. The
file nave is ineb.dll and is write protected. I can not

recognize them.  They are in the Windows/system32 folder
