I have a end user that has restricted permissions. Under
Control Panel>Power Managment (she is on a laptop> Advanced
tab> "Prompt for password when returning from stand by".
As Domain Admin I can uncheck the box. However for some

Is there a way to enable auto update so updates are
installed, with out giving the users admin or power user
right?  I'd like for all out XP machines to be current,
but visisting each PC is becoming a pain.  Thanks!

We are playing around with the Software Update Server.

I had the hard drive replaced on my laptop, now i have to
reinstall Microsoft Office 2000 professional (SR-1) my
computer people gave me the two CD set from "shi".  when

Hi, when I tried to run regedit I got an error
message "registry editing is disabled by your
