The new patches (MS03-041, -043, -044 and -045) do not seem to be directly
applicable to my Win XP Home, stand-alone computer, but Win Update wants me
to have them.  This is true, also, of 329170, a security update for
corporate nets.

My anti virus provider has alerted me that they found 2
viruses that they were unable to disinfect and that I
should delete the 2 programs. The 2 programs are:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\aupdate.exe and

I use a Cisco VPN to connect to my office in order to use the full MAPI
version of Outlook. I want to use the Internet Connection Firewall in
Windows XPP. I can connect successfully to my network with the VPN but can't
start Outlook, even if I add TCP port 135 to the settings dialog ...

my administrative user account must have been completly
wiped out.  My neice's user account is the only account
on the welcome screen.  I did ctrl-alt-del 2x and it
still wont let me log on as an admin.
