I found one web site that claims that Windows XP will not allow a remote login to an account with no password. Another web site claims that XP Professional blocks this, but it is possible under XP Home to remotely login to an account with no password. Which is correct?

I put a computer in safe mode with the help of the msconfig in order to fix a virus. Problem is... I forgot to check the local admin password. I can not log in to the computer!!

Is there a way to include a DRA on a group of standalone laptops that are using EFS so that if the laptop craps out, I can put it's hard drive into another laptop as a second drive and recover the encrypted data?

My folders are marked read only. When I go to properties and remove the check and apply the change to all folders under it. It takes the change, but after you leave and come back it has ignored the request. Can anyone help me.
