Thanks Doug.
I went to Documents and Setttings\All Users\Desktop and
the "AOL" icon is not there.  Nor is it in Documents and
Settings\Guest\Desktop.  So I then looked in Documents

I have some WinXP pro machines that are part of a NT4
domain. Users are required to login the domain but

Suddenly I cannot access anything via the MMC. I can't
access Device Manager or run the servives.msc etc. at all.
I just get the MMC cannot open file [filename] due to it
not being there, access priviledges etc.

I am trying to make folders on my computer private. But I
am unable to tick the box "Make folder private" How do I

Well, I AM the administrator! But, I get that message when
I try to perform certain tasks (copying and moving files,
etc.). I should mention that I just re-installed XP after
a crash, however, didn't have the administrator problem

i had 2 user accounts and well i switched settings on
them and now i cant find the administrator user.how would
i switch back? If anybody doesnt mind. HELP?
