I think I may have a virus in my system restore
files, is there any way to get rid of it?

When I right-click on "my computer", manage I get this
message:

 Name:Disk Management Extension

My HDD died. I recovered my files from the dead HDD by
using it as a secondary drive and extracting almost all
the files and folders.
My problem is that I had offline folders enabled that I

i am not able to scanreg  in my windows xp. and error

I downloaded or opened a link.  Now a page called
find4u.com shows up when i open my homepage which is
google.  Instead of www.google.com though the webaddress
says www2.google.com.  I tried changinge my homepage back

I have set everything to medium-low and enabled Java and all permissions. Still get this message.
So it has to be a bug in the software. Never had this problem with other windows software.
Anyone know the fix?........"PS" I get this message when pasting a java or picture of other ...

internet explorer launches automatically, and begins
bombarding my computer with web based popup ads.

I have installed Norton Internet Security and now cannot

I'm getting a pop-up message supposedly from Microsoft
warning me about a buffer overrun problem and directing
me to www.windows.patch.net when they want $19.95 to
install the patch.

When setting up my computer, Windows XP, I must have
mistyped my password because I cannot access it to change
the content advisory. Is there anyway to change it/start
over without losing everything on my PC?

One of my children typed in an inappropriate web site.  
With windows XP everytime someone does a search the
former searches pop up.  How can I get rid of these old
searches? Thanks

just erased my harddrive and loaded XP Pro. it asks for a
password and I never set one up. what can i do to get it
to work?
