This file is infected and cannot be repaired with the
downloader trojan.  Symantec says to delete it and replace
it if necessary.  However, it looks like a windows XP

A trojan horse messed up this file and I need to restore

I need to restrict access to a PC so a Users can't install programs of any knid.
So the easiest thing I could think of was to restrict access into the PC via a drive be it disk or through a USB device (possible internet).

  computer has automatically configured the IP address for the Network Card with the net work address 00038a000011. TheIP address being used is 169.254.101.152  This has happened three times in one day.Is it a security breech?
