my windows doesnt save my passwords its disabled like the
check box is faded so you cant click it and when i click
yes to remember the password it doenst remeber it any
help!! please

IN MY HOUSE I HAVE THREE COMPUTERS, THEY WERE ALL RUNNING
WINDOWS 98, BUT RECENTLY I PURCHASED THE WINDOWS XP
UPGRADE, AND NOW ONE OF THESE COMPUTERS HAS WINDOWS XP.  
I LIKE IT ALOT, SO MY QUESTION IS, CAN I USE THAT SAME

I installed the Ntbackup utility from the cd rom, and
have tried to use the backup utility.  I have never used
this utility before,and need some help.  I have set it up
to backup my computer twice.  I set the parameters,

when i turn on the computer a screen comes up asking for a password in order to start windows, so my question is; how do you disable this passoerd so i can turn on computer and go directly yo the welcome screen?  thanks zip6973

I have a notebook hard drive now in an exteranl
enclosure now on a new PC with XP thru a USB port.
On XP with the new XP on the PC I cant open any
files under my old user/admin thru this PC.

i have xp home edition. in a moment of stupidity, i
deleted asp.net from my user group a couple of weeks ago.
i haven't had any real ill effects from it (that i know
of) BUTTT.....i have noticed that very day -- multiple
