I just upgraded to XP.  I have a DSL "always on"
connection to the 'Net and when I do a shutdown, I get a
warning that there are 1 users connected to your system.
A)  How do I find who is connected?

Hi,
I have a very odd problem, I have only seen on my
computer.
I have serched the knowledgebase to find similiar but non-

Whenever I right click on any icon on the desktop, or on
any item on the start-menu I get a windows explorer
error.  I have downloaded and installed all the critical
updates, and most recommended updates.  I am running

I am the computer admin. and do not remember my password to get into my account and I am the only one with the computer admin privlige. What can I do to fix this problem?

Windows XP doesn't seem to receive the policies from the
domain.  This is from a Windows 2000 server.  Windows 2000
computers receive it fine.  How can I get the XP computers
to grab the policy?  Thanks.

Well i tried  it and i had no success. I tried to add the dword in the
../policy folders, that didn't work. I added the key "NowinKeys" with the
dword NoWinKeys with a value of 1. No success, any ideas?

Hi everyone, is there a way to disable the "windows" and "L" key combo to
lock a windows xp computer on my win 2000 domain? I've already locked the
lock option on the CTRL-ALT-DELETE screen. Any advice?

i am facing a problem decrypting a file, i formated my pc
after i encrypt it without knowing the private key, i
logged in as admins but still when i am trying to open
this file he said access is denied with this message:

i have a problem with the EFS, i encrypted some files on
my xp account but i formatted the pc later, then i tried
to open the file it is telling me that access is denied
when i try to decrypt the file it is giving me this
