At START UP, my computer "WELCOME" window does not come up
with my name as "Computer Administrator" (w/Icon beside it)
in order for me to click on it (for my personal settings),
even though I have established my account.  It only comes

I noticed that a logical drive on my XP Pro system
is "Shared for Administrative Purposes".  If I unshare it
to remove it from the network, then it will automatically
be shared again (at the next boot up?).  The contents of

some internet sites are posting their addresses into my
favorites list.  i delete them when they appear, but they
reappear the next day.  how can i stop this?  it is most

The side bar search has been taken over by "adserve" I am directed to a
single window where any search term ends in an error message at adsrve.com.
If anyone can tell me how to remove and get back to my normal search. It
