I have 3 computers on a lan in 1 wkgrp.  Two share folders fine.  The third can not share or see folders with the other 2.
All 3 are visible on the domain.

I have made my Administrator account my Recovery Agent for each one of my
systems.  The Recovery Agent key was exported and deleted from the
Administrator account.  I also have backed up the Administrator key and each
of the Account keys.

Whenever I try to delete an account (and it's files) It
freezes up and say "Program not responding" I've tried
about 20 times, some times turning the computer off and
then on again. Always gets stuck. I'm on manager already,

I am trying to install Nortel Contivity client on a brand
new Gateway laptop (Win XP Pro w/SP1). I get a bule
screen and a reboot. Then I have to go back to last known
config.....

Can anyone tell me how I might prevent users from
downloading software from the internet that I don't wish
them to use?

XP Home - Some how the other tabs in task manager
disappeared, all I get is the process tab in a window all
by itself. I am loged in as administrator, I think the
other tabs were there when I loaded the OS but can't swear

I am trying to get files off of a hard drive i have set
up as a slave now. but the files i need are protected, is
there anyway around this? I cannot boot to the slave
drive at all.

When now trying to access IE internet options I am told
that the "operation has been caneceled due to restrictions
in effect on this computer".  I must have made some
inadvertent change but don't know where to make the change

I have two PC's connected VIA A LAN.  One has its C drive shared.
On the other computer when I map a drive to the shared C Drive,  I want a
password box to appear and the user has to enter a valid user/password (one
from the shared drive PC) in ordfer to access the drive.

I recently installed SP1 to improve the security of my
machine.  During the download/installation of SP1 about
40megs of files were uploaded?
Since them about another 20megs have uploaded.
