I am continuing to have problems with this despite having
deleted it in the normal way. It is now refusing to allow
me to download antivirus or patches.  I cannnot find any
trace of the program or location on my computer.

My mother bought a computer last week with XP
preinstalled, while setting it up,it became infected with
the blaster worm.  The store it was purchased from is

I recently resetted my password, but unfortunately, I
believe I typed it too fast and saved it, that when I try
to sign on to the main administrator account, it wont let
me in.  Instead, I am stuck with logging in as a "Guest."

Sorry, this is a long one.
I've tanked my in-laws computer by creating a guest
account.  Now when the logon screen pops up, it defaults
to "guest" and will not recognize the administrator user

is not complete.  The list is truncated after only a few

My infection took the guise of dx8compat.exe. I followed
the instructions of Symantics and then tried to regedit
delete those entries that were not dealt with by using
