I am continuing to have problems with this despite having
deleted it in the normal way. It is now refusing to allow
me to download antivirus or patches.  I cannnot find any
trace of the program or location on my computer.

I recently resetted my password, but unfortunately, I
believe I typed it too fast and saved it, that when I try
to sign on to the main administrator account, it wont let
me in.  Instead, I am stuck with logging in as a "Guest."

Anyone got any ideas on this weird problem. Even though I'm
logged in as Administrator on my
machine, the software on my machine forgets many (though
not all) of the preferences/options/settings that I've made

My hard drive is about to crash.  Dell is sending
a replacement.  Will I be able to reload my XP home
OS that I recently purchased since it has laready been
registered once

When I use the internet my computer often crashes
unexpectedly. It gives me 1 minute to close all programs
and the message " Windows must restart because the Remote
Procedure Call (RPC)service has terminated unexpectedly.

All my accounts are locked out is there any way around this?

Sorry, this is a long one.
I've tanked my in-laws computer by creating a guest
account.  Now when the logon screen pops up, it defaults
to "guest" and will not recognize the administrator user

The list of installed programs in the add/remove applet
is not complete.  The list is truncated after only a few
entries.

I have the Norton Internet Security 2004 in my computer.
Would it be wise to load other anti-virus, anti-spam
protective programs, such as the WINxp built in Firewall
as added defense?

I am using Windows XP Home. How does one turn off the Pop-
Up option in either Windows XP or Internet Explorer to
prevent pop-up windows from occurring? Thanks, Ray.

I know that using Windows Key+L will lock the computer
(Win XP), but is it possible to create a desktop shortcut
that will do the same thing?
